The Gatehouse (Caravan)
High up, above Caerau Uchaf, we have our caravan. It’s a secluded site with stunning views and backs onto the wood with the adventure playground. Quite a spot for children and close enough for them to play in while the parents sit out under the awning.
The Caravan
An Elddis Crusader Tempest. Do a search for more pictures on line. It is 6 berth but I prefer to just let it to a family of 4. We don’t want more than two adults. It is hooked up to electricity and water and has central heating, loo and shower although we are also fitting a power shower with loo, washing machine and tumble drier down in the barn below.
Guest access
A private lake for swimming, fishing or boating, our land extending to 650 acres plus unlimited surrounding countryside to explore. Don’t forget the use of our gardens and adventure playground. We can provide mountain bikes, we have a couple and we don’t charge! Also a kayak and rowing boat for the lake, fishing rods etc all very informal. More than just a bed for the night.
Have look at the Tyn Llyn drone footage for an idea of our surroundings.
Other things to note
We are only a small set-up but we open the garden to the public in the main season from April until October when we run our cafe. We serve a full menu including much home made food, great coffee and cakes too, but generally just ask if you want something, maybe a meal in the evening?
We are not expecting to actively advertise this, preferring to keep it free for family and friends and as a buffer for when we are very busy.

Book to Eat
Please help us out and book for lunch. It's easy, you do not pay anything now, and to guarantee you a table we need to know numbers.
This becomes especially important on Sundays when we serve Sunday lunch, we need to know quantities well in advance and we stop taking bookings for this by 10am that morning. We do not revert to the usual menu until after 2pm.
